At Shaw, we purchase Energy-Smart computers and take advantage of the Energy Smart Power Management capability built into each unit. As a result, we save an average of 534 KW/hr per year, per desktop computer. With an annual refresh rate of 2,500, we anticipate a savings of 1,335,000 KW/hr, or $578,750 – by simply enabling the computers' built-in functionality.
