From creating Cradle to Cradle products that can be recycled back into themselves again and again at the end of their useful lives or using alternative fuels like yellow grease, to monitoring our transportation miles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, our Green Edge Initiatives show our commitment to Sustainability™ Through Innovation in action.

CRI Green Label Certification

INITIATIVE | 035 At Shaw, we feel strongly about maintaining our leadership position within the industry. And more than that we believe in progress for the sake of making the industry better. That means relentless focus on improving our operations, our procedures and the products we offer. And it means checking ourselves against the industry standard so we can continue to move above and beyond.

All Shaw Industries broadloom and carpet tile products are CRI Green Label or Green Label Plus Certified. CRI stands for the Carpet and Rug Institute - the national trade organization representing the carpet and rug industry. The Green Label Plus program certifies products that have been tested tested for chemical emissions, ensuring that consumers can identify products that are truely low in Volitile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The CRI Green Label Plus Certification is an enhancement to the CRI Green Label, incorporating additional requirements required by California's Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) for low emitting materials. Shaws products have undergone a lengthy testing process in order to measure chemical emissions, and have been certified safe and healthy for use by everyone.

A Shaw floor is a promise of value, service, style and safety. When you purchase a Shaw product, you can trust that its not only met the industry standard, but that it exceeds the most demanding expectations.....our own.
