All Shaw Industries broadloom and carpet tile products are CRI Green Label or Green Label Plus Certified. CRI stands for the Carpet and Rug Institute - the national trade organization representing the carpet and rug industry. The Green Label Plus program certifies products that have been tested tested for chemical emissions, ensuring that consumers can identify products that are truely low in Volitile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The CRI Green Label Plus Certification is an enhancement to the CRI Green Label, incorporating additional requirements required by California's Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) for low emitting materials. Shaws products have undergone a lengthy testing process in order to measure chemical emissions, and have been certified safe and healthy for use by everyone.
