Shaw offers a seminar called Carpet Diem II, A Spec of Green, for the specifying public. It is an accurate and easy instructional session that helps architects and designers write an environmentally responsible carpet tile or broadloom specification using standard Section 9 formats. But Carpet Diem is much more than the nuts and bolts of specification writing. It addresses many of the environmental trends and issues facing the architectural and design communities, and provides some basic education about the carpet industry and its efforts to provide more sustainable products and processes. Carpet Diem II is a snapshot of the industry today that we will periodically update in order to keep you more informed and aware.
