INITIATIVE | 013 At Shaw, we know that a great company is composed of great individuals working as a team. This team extends to the families of employees and the communities where we work. Shaw continues to support its staff through health programs and events, designed to aid in the general health and well-being of all our employees.
Shaw provides an Employee Assistance Program called LifeBalance to all full-time employees and their family members at no cost. Unlimited telephone access with counselors is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as some face to face sessions with licensed EAP counselors. An EAP provides valuable resources to participants in everything regarding work, family, finances, health, child care, or any other issues they may have in just coping with the ups and downs of everyday life with complete confidentiality.
