INITIATIVE | 027 Greater environmental responsibility is a goal that we're all working towards, keeping in mind that the smallest efforts, multiplied across great numbers of individuals, can amount to big progress. At Shaw, we provide incentives to employees who take care of our local communities.
Our quarterly Adopt-a-Road Program awards points to employees at participating plants who volunteer for trash pick-up along stretches of public road. These points accumulate as paid vacation – rewarding those employees who dedicate their time and energy to the effort.
